I was recently scrolling through my news feed when something caught my eye – a story about a ‘black girl sex doll’. I had heard about sex dolls before, but this one felt different, and it made me uncomfortable. I couldn’t help but feel like this was a product of racism and sexism, and I was determined to find out more.

The first thing that struck me was how realistic the doll looked. She seemed almost alive, and it felt like I was looking at the real thing. It didn’t seem right that someone could own one of these dolls as an object of pleasure – it felt oddly voyeuristic.

The next thing I noticed was the price tag. This particular doll cost an eye-watering $4000! It seemed like a staggering amount of money to pay for something that objectified a human being. The whole situation just felt so wrong – I really felt for this young girl.

It made me think – what kind of society are we living in when something like this can exist? People were paying for a doll that was meant to replicate an actual person. It’s a depressingly twisted view of intimacy.

But what about the people who actually buy this type of toy? What kind of person pays $4000 for a doll of a young, black ‘girl’ to use for sexual pleasure? It’s simply disgusting. Are they even aware of the full implications? I would hope not, sex dolls but I really couldn’t be sure.

The truth is, this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this kind of thing. It’s an all too familiar scenario. Black women are perpetually objectified and fetishized in our society, and this doll is no exception. We can’t close our eyes and hope this kind of thing will go away. We need to act and push for change.

To me, it’s clear this ‘black girl sex doll’ is nothing more than a dehumanizing object. It feels like a slap in the face to all the amazing black women leading the fight for vibrators equality. We need to send a strong message that this kind of objectification will not be tolerated.

I guess the best way to do that is to start a conversation. The more we talk about this type of thing, the more people will realize the full implications of their actions. Nobody should be able to get away with buying a doll that perpetuates racism and objectification. It’s simply wrong.

Of course, that’s just my opinion. I’m sure other people out there have different views on the matter, and I’m open to hearing those perspectives. Maybe they can help me to better understand this situation, and maybe even come up with some sort of solution.

In any case, this conversation definitely needs to be had. We all need to take a stand against this kind of objectification. The only way to do that is to keep talking about these issues until they no longer exist. We need to take a stance and make sure this type of “toy” disappears forever.
