We have to be cognizant that this type of industry has the inherent power to negatively influence the social and moral fabric of the society.

People may think that it’s just “all in good fun” but indeed, this kind of industry has far-reaching effects. It can give rise to wrong assumptions, poor impressions – even preposterous expectation of the opposite sex.

On the emotional aspect, it’s hard to pin-point any good that would come out of this sort of situation. Products that present women in such a superficial manner can be hurtful and disrespectful to females. It can make girls feel like they’re objects, a mere commodity to be bought and sold. It goes against the humanistic ideals of respect, love and understanding.

Then there’s the ethical side of this jest. If placed in an ethical framework, these sex doll jokes and toys can easily be identified to a gadget for the purpose of pornography and certainly nothing connected to moral standards.
